Hourglass Cosmetics

Today I received my Hourglass order and I am SO excited! Because I live in the UK I cannot get Hourglass cosmetics from anywhere apart from Space NK which is a great site, I highly recommend this site for products not usually found in the UK's stores. So on to the products...

I ordered the famous Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light (£38) and the Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette (£26). As you have probably noticed, both products are relatively expensive and as a student I did have to save up, but it was so worth it! I have briefly sampled both products before and I had to have them for myself. Heres a quick review on my new products;

Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light
This powder is one of the best powders I have ever used, its so creamy and almost seems to sink into the skin creating a dewy, natural look. I mentioned in my January Beauty Favourites that I used the Benefit POREfessional Agent Zero Shine powder everyday, and I think that I will continue to use the Benefit powder for everyday and keep the Ambient Lighting Powder for when I want to look extra special and also to make it last longer. But it is an amazing powder and if I could afford it I would use it everyday!

Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette
I'm not a huge fan of penciling in my brows, and I have quite thick brows so most of the time I don't really need to. However, I often feel like my make up isn't finished until I fill in my brows, even if its just the tiniest bit. I have been using the Benefit Brow Zings since I discovered filling in my brows but now I feel like its time for a change. I've seen this pencil being reviewed multiple time and I just had to have it. It's the perfect colour for me (which is half the battle), the slated shape of the pencil allows for quick and easy application and it blends beautifully until it sets and then its there all day. It's a definite 'must have' and I can see myself repurchasing this product.
